Trouble installing games to external hard drive

The problem was my drive label. Thanks #steamlug on irc.freenode.net!

Same error here, did you mean drive label or the mount point? My mount point has got a space in it but that would be quite a fuss to change...
Does Steam recognize your external drives diskspace right as you got it running?

Would be nice if someone could help out..

Solved... really had to change my mount point to something without a blank, made a link to old location of my drive for other dependencies.
And yes, if you link your /home/.local/share/Steam it does recognize the correct disk space.
