Counter-Strike Source for Linux ETA?
Only reason I am in this BETA is to play CS Source on Linux. Any ETA of arrival? :)

I love CS:S and dreamed about native Linux version, but how about CS:GO? More likely we will see GO, not CS:S...

I reckon we'll see all Source games. No real reason not too. :)

There are several Source games, no telling which one is certainly next or when.
I don't think we'll see another Source game until next year.
If we do, I bet it would be L4D2.

Does Valve even know what a ETA is :P

Valve time mixed with an ETA? Might as well divide by 0.

I guess the best answer you can expect here is "when its done". Even when you get a date, don't expect it to be anywhere close to a releasable state at this date.

valve are most likely more interested in supporting new/soon to be released games for linux than waddle in the past, you might get all those goodies as well, but expect it to come gradually

counter strike:global, i would assume is #1 on valves secret list of games to support next

The only reason you're in this Beta is so you can play css? Well, that's really helpful you being in a beta at this early stage.

Hmm, people like this makes me not so happy. I've very good Linux experience and knowledge as well as programming skills and I using mostly Ubuntu but I am still not in beta. And you?? Huh. I want to report lot of bugs, but simply I can't except here..

I think that all (Valve) games currently supported as "Steam Play" will be ported to Linux.

I have reported security vulnerabilities in CS before. Looking to do the same when CS:S comes to Linux :)

I bought the CS package that was on sale yesterday, i run a dual boot configuration because i'm a web developer and i need Visual Studio to develop asp.net websites. I use my Ubuntu as a media machine (web, audio and video). The only game i like to play on Ubuntu is obviously Minecraft. On windows i play mostly League of Legends. I have been playing CS:GO a lot and i really enjoy it, i expect it to be release for Ubuntu so that i can enjoy the game on my media machine rather then my working machine.
