killing floor lost XP
I am seeing my XP reset on map changes with multiplayer servers with whitelisted mutators, the XP accumulates throughout the match and is lost. Can somebody confirm this bug I am getting. XP acts normally on mutator-free servers

not a 100% sure but i didn't think there were any white listed mutators. Any time i've messed with mutators it gives warning that perks are disabled. I could be wrong though.

http://kf-wiki.com/wiki/List_of_whitelisted_and_greylisted_mutators Informative Scoreboard and Specimem Kill Messages were used with the test server

I had this problem once as well, though playing solo with only the Clot Buster mutator. Didn't have enough info for a bug report at the time.

so after some testing and luck, the linux client appears to be ignoring the cache and checking for local mutators only, so if you put the mutators on your client as if you were running a listen server with the mutators, then the client finds the files and passes the whitelist security check, if you do not have the files, then it fails and XP is reverted on map change.

That's affecting me on ubuntu 12.10 (32 bit) too with steam (latest version). Can i help with some additional info using strace/etc tools ?

it's pretty well confirmed by myself and spacelike the linux client is doing a security check against the local files instead of the cached mutator files from the server you are playing on. You can work around this issue by having all the mutator files in your client's folders.

I am having this problem on Ubuntu 12.10 too. So how do I go about getting xp on servers with mutators? I can see the link you posted but don't know how to progress from here? Thanks!

should I just put all the files in the cache into the system folder?

the most predictable method is to download the mutators seperately and add them as if you're setting up a server. I have not tried to use anything from the cache.

I have the problem of no perk leveling in Ubuntu 12.10, Ubuntu 12.04 and Xubuntu 12.04 when I play multiplayer mode. In windows I haven't this problem.
