Looks like Portal was just added to http://steamdb.info/linux. Hopefully that means we will get it soon.

I noticed my number of linux games increased by 1. I can install it, but get the missing executable error.

Great news they're still porting other games. Still waiting for their newest games and finally modding tools. Can't wait to see community mods on linux.
