LoL... play dota 2 when it gets ported
Kamek 24 Kwi, 2013 - 15:24
I'd like that too, sadly they use Adobe Air in their launcher, and since Adobe dropped Linux's Air support a while ago, I don't think this is gonna happen ...
Unless they are willing to write another launcher from scratch, and without Air.
That's too bad, cause from what I've heard, their Mac client is pretty good, a Linux port wouldn't require much more work, except for the launcher part D:

It's the second Linux petition I've seen on that site, and I've got to ask: How do you set the amount of signatures? How do you know how many people should sign it before it makes a difference?

Is this a joke? League of craplands is for kids, dota 2 is better in EVERY aspect, it's more competitive and better suitable for skilled players overall!
Ilrita 24 Kwi, 2013 - 19:38
Never played it, but I will sign it and hope it actually works.

Well then this thread has nothing to do with you.

This might be an odd place to post such petition, since this is not even a steam title.
I'm not here to sign, since i don't like Riot Games. However I wish you guys still best of luck.

That only matters to people insecure about their own maturity.

Besides, My Little Pony is a childrens show theoretically, but it's biggest market is merchandise, and the average buyer is a 17-23 college student. Nothing wrong with a childhood.

You have such a warped sense of value, geez..

Take off the training wheels and play Dota 2 when it gets ported, you staggering dopes.

If you insist on being a ♥♥♥♥♥, you can run it with Wine after installing the LoL linux tools texture shop patch, to keep it from crashing when opening the shop. Invisible chat text, though.

I will not contribute to the same ol' LoL x Dota2 fight, but I will sign for the linux's sake.

I've never heard of a game called League of Craplands. This is a thread for League of Legends. A game that is actually out. That said, I don't think this is the right venue, but I'll always take a software port that opens Linux use to millions more. I'm pretty sure Riot Games has denied the desire to port to Linux a few times but the idea has been brought up regardless.

I enjoyed LoL for a while but the battle between the developers and the extremely negative community was irritating for me. I played games (CS 1.5/1.6 mostly when CAL was a thing) competitively through high school and college but that sort of community is draining to me now. I admit I downloaded the HoN client but never got around to giving it a shot.

And yet, despite Dota 2 being "so amazing", you waste your time here, whining like a child about other people's interests.

It's simple, to set the amount of signatures you need to go to the settings of the petition and click "additional options" I think that's what it's called.
