How to download Humble Bundle games with wget.
I like using wget -c to download games because I can continue the download if I lose connection.

From Humble Bundle support website ( http://support.humblebundle.com/customer/portal/articles/261313-can-i-use-wget-to-download-the-games- )
Can I use wget to download the games?
Yes. However, since ampersands are a special character that instruct the shell to run the previous command in the background, make sure to escape the & symbols in the command line.

For example, you will need to replace "http://www.example.com/meep?meep&meep&meep" with "http://www.example.com/meep?meep\&meep\&meep".

use steam to download the games.

yes, steam's the prefered way
but most hib games aren't available on steam for linux
(some even anounced that they will never be)
some aren't on steam at all

while I do like wget for its flexibility I think in this case the avarage user is better of using bittorrent
most torrent clients have resume, queueing, checksumming and bandwith management too
but are might be easier to use for noobs

Yes but a lot of the HIB torrents have little to no seeders.
