Do you mean the update of the 4th April? There is nothing about linux client, only some improvements for the dedicated server but it shouldn't affect your TF2.
TF2 works for me as usual.

OK, well I've messed up something in my setup, then. I just upgraded my motherboard, big-time, and I'm still getting .33 fps with sound stuttering. Maybe I can roll back the Nvidia driver...
