Team Fortress 2 in-game splash
The err splash or whatever when I join a server is broken. I'm running debian wheezy. Uhm, basically it has like the webpage loaded by the server that tells you about it, the usual continue button, then you click it and it goes to the splash for the particular map and how to play and when I press enter or click continue the splash goes away for a split second and the server is back. Very buggy stuff. I hope for my sake this is happening on Ubuntu.

I can work around it by holding enter and eventually it dissappears after a million tries but it's extremely annoying and just ruins games.

Go to settings. Under Multiplayer tab select Advanced then check "Disable HTML MOTDs"

A server now says I can't play until HTML MOTDs are enabled. This problem is fatal.

That is because of pinion ads you need to wait several seconds to continue and without it you can go any futher

The funniest part is there are no ads. I don't get a video advertisment on Linux. Steam is yet to support the Firefox flash plugin as far as I know.
