Low FPS issues on TF2, DoD, and HL2:DM in Ubuntu 12.10
I've been having terrible issues running online games through steam. my fps is so low it's almost impossible to play. Any ideas?

My specs are:
Raedon 6550M (With latest AMD driver installed)
Intel Core i5

Disable AA, and Vsync both in-game and in Catalyst, AF can also cause issues but I haven't encountered any.

No surprise...
FGLRX performs terribly (tested with HD 6870/7970).

I would make sure you know you have the latest fglrx driver.
Run these commands in terminal:
sudo apt-get remove --purge fglrx*
sudo apt-get remove --purge fglrx-updates*
Then reboot your computer, and then run this:
sudo apt-get install fglrx-updates*
Let me know if that worked for you.

They're the ones that work best for me.
