Not sure what else to do! TF2 on ubuntu (Amd drivers)
Ok, that is not the first time i'm trying to use linux with my 6870 Radeon
Half life 2 works great 300-350 fps
Portal also works flawless
But in tf2 it runs like **** the fps is great , arround 150-200fps but it still very , very laggy i cant even movement
The weird thing is in offline mod it works great without any lag at all
also i'm using the lastest catalyst driver's
And i also tried another distros like debian wheezy,mint nothing changed

You should try open source drivers,your card is well supported with it.

Yup, the open source drivers can easily beat Catalyst with the 6870. Try those.
