Team fortress 2 on linuxmint16 is freezing
Help me with a problem. When I at first time set linux mint 16 I have installed Steam and team fortress2, it wasn't start, then I write in terminal couple of comands and game started without errors and brakes. Once reinstalled Linux I forgot what comands I writed in terminal at last time, but the game started withot errors but it became really slow with freezing and crashes. Does anyone could tell me what I need to write in terminal?

Which DE are you using?

lspci | grep VGA
NVIDIA Corporation G92 [GeForce 9800 GT] (rev a2)
Wow, that card is years old! I don't think it even has the OpenGL support TF2 requires.

Do
glxinfo | grep OpenGL

Well, no wonder you're experiencing bad lag. You need the proprietary drivers; don't use Noveau: it's rubbish and a waste of time. Install the proprietary nvidia drivers; either nvidia-319 or nvidia-331 will do.
