Having both Windows (in WINE) and Linux steam on the same computer
Is it at all possible that I can have both Windows and Linux versions of Steam? The reason I'd even bother having both is because of compatibility issues with my system specs and such.

While I'm still here, on the main post, I don't care what you have to say about "just use one version" or "upgrade your GPU", etc, because you're not helping if that's all you came here for.

Yes, though you can only be logged into one version of the client at a time (if using one account).

Hmm... I'm pretty sure I was able to log in two PC (and use them, though I didn't launch anything at that time, I was only chatting and tweaking stuff) not long ago. Maybe related to being in the in-Home Streaming beta ?

If so that should become available to all eventually
