steam won't run!
what's wrong?

have you installed the 32 bit library of libudev?
apt-get install libudev1:i386

I noticed that this seems to be a problem on Ubuntu 14.04. Perhaps Valve should install libudev:i386 with the installation of Steam; or Ubuntu devs could have it installed with 14.04 64-bit since it should be multiarch. Either way, both sides should be alerted of this issue otherwise it will affect a multitude of users in the future.
