Killing Floor - "Steam needs to be running and you need an active internet connection"
This happened to me today. Any idea why?

Don't think so. Tried playing TF2 and it said the same, that Steam Beta must be running.

Wtf

Damn, it's a conflict with iptables.

Here's my iptables.rules

Looks like it's somewhat solved after adding the following lines to my iptables rules:

iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -m state --state NEW,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT --dport 27014:27050
iptables -A INPUT -p udp -m state --state NEW,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT --dport 27000:27015
iptables -A INPUT -p udp -m state --state NEW,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT --dport 27015:27030

I posted this on the Arch Linux Forums to see if the order affects the overall security.
