Steam for Linux down?
I can't seem to download the steam installer for linux from steam, I keep getting a 403 error. Is this happening to anyone else? Also, if anyone has the downloader and would like to upload it to somewhere else it would be greatly appreciated.

Steam is on most repos for your Linux distro. It's on the repos of Debian and Ubuntu.

I'm on ubuntu and I can't install from software center, it gets stuck at installing everytime. Probably something to do with ubuntu one so I'm trying to get the installer

Don't use the software center, it's crap. Open a terminal and type "sudo apt-get install steam".

I've found this through their directories. Maybe if you install one of the .deb files then it might work.

Don't use 12.04, it's ancient.
