Help me promote gaming on linux
I have a bunch of games to offer, mainly to promote gaming on linux. What do you think is the best way to advertise it? Obviously Not this group since we already are all gamers on linux. Not on a windows group since people will only register the game and play it on windows. What do you think would be the right place to offer some keys to people with the best chance to make those people play it on linux? (could be a steam group or a reddit sub, I'm not on facebook and alike)

You have non-used keys? Make friends with people who use only linux. Find people who use only linux and give keys to them. Don't post them publicly because you never know who is gonna get them. You can send me some games too but I dual boot but I promise I will only use it on linux :)

You can either give one to Liam from Gaming On Linux and/or Linux gamers who show Linux games on Youtube.

I don't know if giving away free game keys that have Linux ports of those titles is an effective way to promote gaming on Linux, but I like your spirit :-) Gaming on Linux rocks, because Linux is way cooler and more secure overall as a DE than Windows.

I sure wish more games supported Linux! Even if they still support Windows, that's fine. Let peeps that want to keep running Windows do that, just also support Linux with a port.

We used to have giveaways where people were asked to prove they are using Linux:

I've been told you should not post keys public anywhere, not just because Windows users may get it, but much worse, bots are farming for Steam keys.

Post it in Off topic, no point targeting Linux users, you want to convert, one form of convertion was the sword the other free food and shelter, so a free game if you convert over to Linux for a month chanting Linux Linux L.I.N.U.X repeat etc & simple instructions links to install like run this, not download 1 of 200 forms of linux then download something else. it has to be a one button click and then make a cup of tea.
