when units are attacked respond strange
when a group of units is being attacked and you repeatedly tell them to move, many times they will not listen and sort of "freeze" causing them to stand idle and be killed, anyone else experienced this? it is extremely frustrating and makes microing units difficult

I also have encountered this...
And when you order units to move in general they sometimes stop in the middle of the path they should have walked, or go in the opposite direction. And always go were they will be killed... It's like the game doesn't allow you to sneak up behind someone.

yep, and in the original if this ever occurred it was SOOOO much less than HD

-Yeah, I had this happen in the original as well. Usually under instense lag this occurs. Seems about the same amount of occurance between Hd and original though.

I'm sorry to say but no it's not the same between the original and here. The lag is worse here so in essence it happens more. Also when you keep calling back the units sometimes they will keep attacking which is annoying.

But yeah this is something that occurs more often on the new version compared to the original. Lot of it is because most games lag anyway.

well it is not in this particular instance; you are referring to single player, we are both referring to multiplayer

why do you seemingly follow every post where someone posts there is an issue they are experiencing and attempt to contradict the poster? I have been playing this game on and off since release and am a long time veteran of the zone

I know what would happen and not happen in those games, and this is definately different for me and many others

how is it useful to post that you are not experiencing an issue? and thus downplaying the severity of the issue...

this is a very big bad thing that is happening in almost EVERY game I play on MP

how can a game be taken seriously when the units will not run away if they are being attacked... maybe you don't notice it because you do not micro?

-It may seem like that, but I'm just pointing out that it doesn't happen to everyone in "almost EVERY game". What's wrong about that? I didn't say it didn't exist.

-One of the first questions a developer would ask when troubleshooting a problem is if it happens for everyone. Is it global. Where is it isolated to, what are the repeatable steps, what is the root issue, what is causing them to freeze, what is going on in the game when it happens, how many players are in the game, is it single player, is it multiplayer, where is each player located, what is everyone's ping who is playing, what are everyone's specs who are playing in that game, when does it happen in the game, late game, early game, etc etc.

-Try not to get offended that I just point out that it doesn't happen on a global scale. Or perhaps it does, but it isn't nerely as frequent as it seems to be. Or maybe it is. All I know is that for some people, such as myself, don't have this as frequent as other people, such as yourself. To discredit the statement would just be naive.

irregardless it is an issue, and while you say you experienced this issue in the original i did not, the ability to micromanage units in battle in HD fails horridly in comparison with the original this is in part due to command lag and also due to freezing of units

sometimes a villager luring a boar just stops randomly, I tell it to move, it moves, then stops again, and gets killed, then the boar runs back. It is very annoying
