aoe2 lobby is worthless

Why is the lobby here at steam less then 1% as good as the Gamezone lobby was 12 years ago?

I wanted to discuss a game with anotyher player after i had left. IMPOSSIBLE!
cant spell name perfectly from memory
there are 2000 names with bob in it
there is NO WAY to get SIMILAR names to iIIll11llIIIIlIIIo (L's and I's and 1's)
there is no record of gamers played
there is no..... etcetcetcetcetcetc....
this is a terrible lobby.... maybe 1 step above.... maybe equal to the old Russian fansite lobby... and it was little more than a cheaters paradise.... and i may go back and find it again just for the chatrooms.
im almost fed up with this place

dude, the game/lobby/features is only under 3 months old, MSN zone had bloody years to get it to that level, stop complaining and allow them some time, oh my Gosh!

What he means is that it can be very difficult to retype some names, making out all the weird combination fo letters, even some special characters would be impossible to know how to type.

Therefore it's usually impossible to contact people after a game, specially when they have a normal name that thousands of other people have too.

Microsoft must realize that people want a lobby in conditions. If they do not soon people leave this game. Maybe it's what they want, kill aoc once, to see if they can also sell copies of other games that nobody wants because they are not as good as aoc.

AoC HD is not in fase Beta. Ok, all game have bugs and is necessary a patch or update, in aoc is not just bugs is an incomplete game, dont have lobby, is posible to play in multiplayer but this cant call it lobby.
Nobody with minimum intelligence can say that this system is better than the old zone or Voobly. Elo system? maybe but we dont know it. In a game I can not know the level of the players. heading off either, because I can not know who is inside. I have to load an external website and write unpronounceable names, to get an idea of ​​the level. This website is not microsoft. It's a fan. Also users with duplicate names appear, so that you do not know who you're facing really.
Without an idea of ​​the level of the players, games is all unfair. and so nobody has fun. The invitation system a game is a success, however there is no system of ban, or limitation of levels, that continually causes delays when starting a game.
we cant know who are looking for game, playing or waiting. then we can not know the real options to fill the game, or invite players that we havent on the friends list.
It would be nice to see the settings of the game before entering it. so would avoid people in and out continuously at a starting.
Is there search for items by skills? LoL, I use this option and find me frecuently total noobs players. Using it is the same as not using it.
Does Microsoft not realize this? Or are incompetent and are killing their only game good, or are causing their death, for 15 years, many years of life of a game without people give them more money.
Now will come the typical microsoft defender tell you that is better aoc hd than aoc, but we paid for a finished product, not a beta. and if we do not protest will not do anything to improve this.
