Just bought 4-pack - Available 5/4?!
Bought this amazing game since me and my friends are having a LAN party the weekend 5-7/4. Now after I bought the 4-pack I saw some posts here on the forum that the 4-pack might not be available from the earlier date, only the single pack. I would like some kind of confirmation regarding this topic from Steam or Microsoft, if this is correct I feel deluded.

This is from your webpage:
"Pre-Purchase Age of Empires II HD - 4-Pack"

"Pre-Purchase and get Early Access!
Age of Empires II HD will be released on April 5th to customers who pre-purchase the game on Steam!"

This clearly states that it's valid for the 4-packs also, since I just pre-purchased one!

As far as I know it's not valid for the 5th April release. Only the single purchase. Valve are in charge of all this, not Microsoft. I think a Microsoft emplyee is checking on this as you read this. Either way its only 4 days >.>

Well, if that's correct then I think they must change the text on the webpage. I wouldn't have bought the 4-pack edition if you can't play during that weekend, then I would have bought 4pcs of single packs instead. Only reason I bought this right now was because of the date and our upcoming LAN party! It shouldn't be that hard for Valve to clearify what they mean with this offer...

You'll have to check with Valve, although someone at Microsoft is doing that already. I don't see why the 4 pack can't be made to have the pre-order thing for 4 days earlier. It anything it'd sell more.

We are still looking for a confirmation on this and will get back to you, once we have a definite answers.

They are still checking. Stop pestering them for answers they don't even have yet.

Just got confirmation from Valve, and am happy to report that users who have purchased the 4 pack will also receive the early access on April 5th!

Nice! Can you ask them to edit this to make it more clear on their store page? Makes sense and more people will buy it then.
