That's some exciting stuff. Knew there were the AIs and pathing in the works but had no idea more campaigns and RMS' were being added too. That's awesome.

Also more alpacas can never be a bad thing.

Beautiful work on the El Dorado intro slides. Such a small feature but it really enhances the experience, makes me feel like I'm playing a classic Ensemble campaign.

Indeed, a different artwork style but well-done nonetheless. Kudos to the artist/s.

I'm guessing you missed last week's stream. They confirmed work on an India campaign and also a set of battles akin to the "battle of the conquerors" for the Forgotten. The RMS scripts pertain in part to some of the new modes like capture the relic.

I watched most of it but I was half asleep so that probably didn't register with me. Well, it's news to me, and good news at that!

Agreed, they're gorgeous. They're adding slides to the existing AoF campaigns at some point, too, can't wait to see 'em.

Yeah, the new campaign looks awesome!
Outstanding work. Can I urge the community to help vote up a campaign about the Slavs with the Kingdom of Bulgaria? Plenty of rich history and exciting battles, noble kings and bloody battles to choose from.

How about removing the pre-order achievement and giving other bonus(es) for those who pre-ordered the game?

Any chance to have the slides implemented in the existed campaigns? It's not much, but it still reminds of the old campaigns and makes the story more enjoyable.
The most lacking aspect is that it has no voice acting, I guess it's just not possible with the team you have.

Slides are coming for the other campaigns as well :) (I know, it's not ideal with such a delay, but they're coming regardless)

Awesome! Thank you for the reply. Is it technically possible to add voice acting retroactively, much like you are to add slides? Theoretically speaking.

I'm experiencing some issues with saves after I updated my game.

First, the game closed without me asking for it because the update arrived. Now, every time I try to load a game I saved after the update, the game crashes to desktop.

Please, fix this issue as soon as possible, don't take too long to fix this issue.

I have no idea how hard it would be to add voice to the intro slides. Having added voice acting to my own scenarios, I'm guessing it wouldn't be technically challenging to do so for the campaigns, but would involve many hours of busy work testing and sorting triggers.

I would guess some data got corrupted when your game was forced to close. Try verifying your integrity of game cache-right click game>go to properties>local files tab>verify game cache.

I tested your issue and loaded up some save games from both Dec. and Nov. and both load fine without any crashes so I'm just guessing you got some bad data.

Previously saved games load fine, I'm talking about saved games after the update arrived.

I just verified the integrity of the game's files and it's all good according to Steam.

I appreciate the effort they are putting into this game, but I hope future updates won't essentially make the campaign unplayable for some people.

Are you planning on in-corporating the advanced AI's into multiplayer-and do you have an ETA on that? My friends and I love to comp stomp. The AI right now is completely broken and usually gets stuck on walls. It's really no challenge and we've moved on to other games as a result.

Azorth, I amended my earlier post too late it seems, but I did also make a saved campaign and a saved standard game with the new patch and both did not crash upon loading them up. Are you still crashing after verifying, and are you crashing only on a specific campaign game save? If you did a different campaign and saved a game does it still crash?

If I create a new game or start a new campaign game, the loads work fine. It only happens when I try to load a newly saved game after loading a previously saved campaign game.

As I said, when I create a new campaign save, loading it won't make the game to crash.

Maybe they should allow me to choose whether or not I want my game to be forcibly shut down whenever a new update arrives so files don't get corrupted.
