Future Patch Plans
Thank you for providing feedback and participating in the Open Beta Program! As we mentioned earlier we will continue to cycle future patches through open betas to give you, the community, an opportunity to provide feedback on a regular basis and help shape the game.

Over the next few months we are planning to release consistent updates that focus on issues encountered by the community. As we launch Patch 5.3 into open beta we will continue to monitor the forums and prioritize issues while beginning work on the next patch. Patch 5.4 will address additional campaign bugs and focus on custom scenario issues.

Future patches will continue to address your feedback and currently Patch 5.5 will look into lobby improvements and audio bugs whereas Patch 5.6 will focus on further AI bug fixes.

Based on your ongoing feedback we will continue to make adjustments and monitor the forums. Please let us know what you think in this disucssion thread and we look for forward to hearing from you!

thanks man

so likely after patch 5.6 u reckon?
Regarding 5.5 (Lobby improvements), I would suggest to introduce separate elo for single and multiplayer games.
Reason: There is no dispute about the fact that the "expert" AOE players are on voobly and I believe in addition to lot of other reasons, the fact that voobly has separated single and team game elo plays a big role in "creating" expert players. There, the players can keep playing the team games and 1v1 games without affecting each other's elo. This is also one of the reasons that we rarely see 1v1 lobbies on steam. The hard earned elo from team games gets wiped off if you lose a game or two in 1v1 game. Hence, players on steam generally tend to avoid 1v1 games and stick to team games. Hence, the players don't acquire the kind of expertise that you would acquire by playing 1v1 games.
I believe if AOE HD will separate these rating, the players will be more willing to try 1v1, which will eventually create "expert" players of its own.

For robustness's sake, the default custom campaign screen needs a scrollbar to accommodate for campaigns with unusally large numbers of scenarios.

I'll make a longer post on what I think should be done for the screen later.

1) Feature to add people in the game lobby

2) Resolution options for everyone :/

3) Next to each resource up top there should be 2 numbers, one indicating the amount of said resource (exists) and another one indicating the amount of villagers tasked on gathering said resource (doesn't exist!)
-- Yes, I know there's an eco minimap option but i dont want to have to press that hotkey for info that i literally have to check on every minute, same way i don't have to press a hotkey to check the amount of resources i have --

4) Spectators should not take up slots on a lobby come on :/ People should be able to spec any game, 4v4s included, even without adding to the game's lagg if that's possible.
What about changing what Herbal Medicine does to encourage research? No one researches it due to its effect being relatively worthless in competitive play, but what if it increased a Monk's healing speed? Not by 4x mind you but maybe a 50%-100% increase? Monks heal very slowly and this will make them more effective in keeping your army alive.
please look at overhauling the rating system... what's the point of leaderboards where you can't even see who's ranked what. all you can see is what you're ranked. There also needs to be a rating decay system to get rid of the point traders who sit at the top of the ladder.
AI bugs: All / no sheeps will not go to first builded town center on nomad LudiKRIS. One or more AI's are build two or more mining camps at same place. Sometimes they don't build at all for long time, so they will go long distance to the stone / gold.
Many villagers will for no reason stop working and get idle.

Trees or forest between walls that have been cutted by villagers will not been filled with walls like userpatch version.

Is there a timetable when the patches are released? I want to play online vs humans and I can't find any game as long as I am playing on the beta, but the performance improvements which came with 5.2 were that huge that I don't wanna go back on 5.1.
Can you PLEASE for the love of god add a resolution selector mode (like there was in the vanilla version of the game)???? Players with 1440p or 4K monitors are unable to play the game without changing a bunch of desktop resolution settings.......
Many of the steam awards are not being unlocked. Will these be fixed in the newer patches too??
