You might play this if...
you enjoy playing with yourself.

you enjoy spending money on something you can do free elsewhere.

your stuck in the late 1900's. When the whole family gathered around this thing called a
'comp-u-ter'.

I've been playing with myself all afternoon and it feels gooooood. Land on Boardwalk, buy Parkplace, win game.

I've found the trick is to own the railroads. Everybody hits the railroads.

I think I may buy this game ... not because I particularly like Monopoly but because they dared to release a version without MP. Seeing the massive response against has been not only amusing, but illuminating.

Yeah I have it. The computer players are so easy. Or they cheat if you have it on hard. But you can still trick them into giving you all their money. So even single player kind of gets boring fast.

Or if you're stuck in the early 1900's when it was either board games or radio.

How many times can you possibly play with yourself? It gets boring after a while. You need someone else to play with.

I realize that, I'm talking about a time before computers when you had to do something with other people without going crazy. (as a side note, my entire entertainment has been computer related since 1982)

Or on the other hand, you have a life , REAL friends and a girlfriend and have gotten laid at least once in your life to something other than your hand and don't have time for childish multiplayer. (About as childish as that comment you made)
