Screen flickering?

My screen flickers when I try to play this game, alot. I've looked at other posts and vsync being turned on does nothing, perhaps even makes it worse. I've tried updating my driver but I think it's updated already, so any ideas? It's kinda impossible to play.


P.S I'm not great with computers, so explain things clearly if you have any ideas please (:

Did you ever figure this out? I, too, have been dealing with this issue. I turned on Vsync and took the game out of fullscreen, which usually fixes flicker issues for me. I also have an NVIDIA GeForce (mine's a 9800) GT. I wonder if it's an NVIDIA problem?

I had this issue but was able to resolve it by updating to the latest nvidia drivers.

I was never able to fix this problem, i put in on Vsync, took it out of fullscreen and it still flickered fairly badly. I just did a typically British thing and stuck with it, moaned at the flickering but dealt with it. Still kind of ruined the game abit for me..

Damn, I have the same problem, was hoping to find a fix. Will try Nvida driver updates, but I'm pretty up to date.

I've attempted to find updates, but I think i'm fully up to date, guess I need to get a better graphics card.

I can't imagine you would need a BETTER graphics card, all I have is a typical one that came with my computer and I never had a problem. Maybe you need a different graphics card though, try it on a laptop or something if you have one.

i dont think it's your graphics card that's having the problems, i have had it running perfectly on a 8800GT but heres the thing...

i only started getting the flickering problem once i downgraded my drivers from 314.22 to 296.10 (had alot of BSOD with the latest drivers) i dont know if this helps but... i hope it does!
