Is this game scarier than amnesia

i have been wondering which one to get for scares.Ihave seen lets plays of amnesia on youtube and lets plays of penumbra but cant decide which one to get for the most creepy expeirience.PLZ help thnx! :D

Penumbra is more for the adventure and puzzles, it just happens to have monsters as a hinderence. If just want the bajesus scared out of you buy Amnesia. Amnesia has simple(r) puzzles, but is much scarier, with many more monster encounters then Penumbra. If you want downright terrifying, buy Amnesia.

Just asking which penumbra do you think is best OVERTURE or BLACK PLEAGUE.I know theres a story but which one contains the most scares,best graphics,jump scares,best puzzles,best monsters ECT.plz reply i dont know which to buy

I suggest you get both as the story in this game is pretty good.

to tell the truth, the only enemies in overture were dogs and spiders, both of which could be killed by you swinging your pickaxe or hammer, whereas in black plague they took that away and added the infected humans, who wander around looking for you, black plague will scare you more as the enemies are actually scary.

In Overture, You could attempt to fight back, Whereas in Black Plague... There's no hope!

black plague is just a better game than overture... similar in some respects to amnesia,but both are really solid. amnesia is a lot scarier though...

I do really think that Penumbra Black Plague is scarier then Amnesia. I them both of them and i think Black Plague is scarier.

Hey bro's, i recon black plauge is more scary then amnesia. Beacause it feels more creepy and confussing, yeah amnesia is very good but black plauge is kinda more like..i duno i can realy say theres just something about black that makes it more creepy and scayier then amnesia (btw this isnt the real pewds =))

Personally I think Black Plague is a hell of a lot scarier than Amnesia.
