lighting problem

on penumbra, wiothout the torch its fine no lighing problem, but when i use anything that provides light the objects and area around it turn white making the game not fun to play. any ideas how to solve this problem?

I know this is an old post, but I keep seeing unanswered posts to problems that I just had with Overture, so in case you still haven't fixed it, try turning down the shader quality. I had the same problem, but turning it down from high to medium made it function like a normal flashlight.
