Why is this game being made?

I have played Blood Bowl on and off for 15 years and have logged 200+ hours on the current pc games, so why play this dumbed down version? Can anyone explain to me why this game is being developed and for whom?

This is about as foolish as Blood Bowl the card game! What I need as a coach is a better interface, updated graphics and a LRB7.

i really like that coach game, quite different but more "tactic"... some things to work but really nice one, for BB fans also, but really different game....nearest chest game ;) (i play BB since first board game ;) )

This game is a joke. Already a lot of negative comments on Facebook and I have to agree, it's complete rubbish if you're used to the real Blood Bowl (PC) game.

It could be a nice way to teach blood bowl basics to some who might later move into real blood bowl. Instead, it teaches silly skills and stupid game plays which have no use in BB.

I hope they cancel this game and spend the resources on something usefull. Maybe a team editor that you can download and use with Steam Workshop. It would be nice to have mods that changed the skins of your team and the referee. You could even allow the editor to be used to draw better fans in the stands, the previous game's artwork was abismal. I would pay say 10.00 for the editor if it could be used for BB2.

I enjoy the game for what it is. Of course, I never expected it to be as comprehensive as Cyanide Blood Bowl or FUMBBL. Maybe that's why I'm not too disappointed.

I just hope this doesn't end replacing Blood Bowl. It doesn't bother me, I even "play it" (40 minutes ingame for 30+ matches played), but it doesn't come close to the BB: CE experience at all.

Hey think of it this way, it would make a really fun smartphone game. For this game is more of a "why not?".

No, no it would not make for a good smart phone game. It is a waste of development resources and those resources could be used on either Blood Bowl 2 or producing a product worth purchasing. They could for instance create a few good trailers for Blood Bowl 2 to hype the game and then release a team editor that can be used on phones and tablets that lets you design uniforms, team emblems and even mascots for your team. I would pay say $15.00 for such an app.

Wel I wouldn't pay that kind of money for that kind of app and just wait for the full thing to come out, but hey to each their own.
And it would most definatly make a good smartphone game, you're just beeing difficult because you don't like this game (beta) in the first place, and that's fine. But you have to admit that the nature of this kind of game=> short and only a few clicks here and there, lends itself for smartphone platforms.

It's like Football Manager, so quite relaxed. Not a fan of football, but with Blood Bowl at least I can give it a go. So far it's interesting. Runs off nothing, doesn't take much room, probably going to be for the comuter and his Windows 8 phone and tablet.

Must admit, I just tryied it... and.... wow !!! No word to say how horible is this game, wait, did i said a game?
Can't understand too why this is being created and why they call this thing a game, I tought you were suposed to get some fun in a game !
