Its an option server owners can turn on or off. Some people do actuerly want a more hardcore experience. This is for them.
There no such thing as Perma-Death when I can have a toon on every server.I die ,I jump to the next one.
I have to start as a fresh spawn If im killed(by ladder, stairs, jumping a rock etc) anyway,so it better that I stay on your server.
I dont think I'll be paying for an empty server just because 1 person left, you aren't as important as many of you think you are. If everyone stops paying for servers where will you play then ? The handful of official servers? good luck trying to fit everyone on those.
My point was why would anybody pay extra for a private server then add a feature where they may only spawn on it twice in 24 hours? it's a stupid suggestion and idea unless they want to put it on the free servers where most the hacking / glitching / duping occurs then and only then maybe will it make people consider what they do.
How exactly does limiting to 2 spawns actually make anything harder? it just makes the same game more limited it doesn't in anyway increase the difficulty.
I am one of those people that wants a more hardcore experience this isnt harder. Increased difficulty would be reduced , loot spawns, reduced food, stagnet ponds etc etc these simple things would make it harder not having to move from one server to another because I died twice.

It aint breaking any news those public servers pay for themselves? or do people rent them ? so again "If everyone stops paying for servers where will you play then ?" Like I originally said you aren't the be all and end all of servers, most people rent them for themselves and their friends, many are kind enough to open them to joe public, most probably just dont like the increased price for a private shard as it is by no means cheap and would happily lock it from joe public given the opportunity.
Private servers are not the only rented servers.
It's not as if everybody will use this and get banned from their own servers then stop renting one and go one.
Most people wont turn this on just because of that reason.
Hard core is going to take of like a lead balloon
