I can't think of many situations where a bear wouldn't want to eat you. They're literally eating machines.
Bears will eat nearly anything, including their own dead cubs. They do not eat fish and berries exclusively.
Pretty much came here to post this.
A very simple instance of where a bear wouldn't want to eat a human is when there are much less threatening prey available. Like chickens, cows, and deer... and berries...and pic-a-nic baskets...Hey Boo-Boo!
Only you can prevent forrest fires.
Only you.
Smokey bear?
Smokey T. Bear.

Maybe one can be come like Steve Irvine and Mogli together to become a Beast Master :) Just kidding.
I would like to see all the animals have relatively advanced ai personally (rather than just being four legged zombies), but there is also the idea that some animals may get infected too, and I am not sure if they intend to delve into that idea much.
lol, well see this is where the logic gaps start coming into it, I mean what kind of chance does an infected chicken have really? Whatever it attacks is probably just going to eat or kill it, and it is going to attack everything it sees, so in reality we probably wouldn't see many if any infected chickens.
But in the same regard rats (and other fast scavenger rodents) I think would be the ones inheriting the earth here, could you imagine how quickly racoons/rats/mice/possums or whatever native smart speedy rodents would accumulate in cities? They could easily outrun/outmanoeuvre infected people and would be having a blast eating all of the crap people left behind and making nests in our old houses/apartments. But animating that many rats on the map is crazy to consider, depending on how it was done.
Which raises another question of if zombies should chase wildlife, and if wildlife would eat infected and not become infected, because you'd think a big bear in a zombie city would just demolish the zombie polulation, eat its fill and leave (to come back later), similarly wolves (and dogs) would catch on VERY fast that infected humans could be tricked like basic animals and would be pack hunting them down regularly, so again, the whole zombie thing has general flaws in the ideals and we are going to have to give the devs a lot of leeway in that regard.
I still have the vision of these fear creating infected in the Video and not the ones at the moment which i can outrun while carying a Barell in my Hands..

Ok the dude in the video isnt imune while we Survivors are. But even if imune i would had run infront of those Horde incoming to Town.
People demand their generic zombie swarms and can't seem to appreciate something different, despite how much more sense it makes in general.
