Some time ago some players started to shot at me and I got hit alot so i lay down i the grass. I wasn`t sure if they could see me but i layed completely calm and I open my inventory and placed a grenade in my hand and removed the pin then i saw some feet in the corner and I knew they had found me so i drag the grenade out of my hand and placed it in the left window, just like dropping it on the ground. but then they killed me and im not sure if the grenade went off.

If i have a grenade in my hand and remove the pin and then die with the grenade still in my hand will it explode or will it go off when another player pick it up and put in his inventory?

Yes i have done this and yes when they finished me off it exploded after 5 seconds wiping a squad of 5.
I know this because my friend was recording the action from a roof top

Same as if you remove the pin and place said unpinned grenade in your bag, yuo can place the bag on the ground and whoever picks it up disappears in a puff of smoke. Anyone know if placing an unpinned grenade inside something, like an ammo box, and putting that inside a bag would do the same thing?

Shouldnt tbe grenade explode after 7 seconds or 10 after you unpinn the grenade? I mean, why it does not explode if you take the pinn out and put it in a backpack? Is it a bug?

If you're asking why it doesn't explode in your hands, it's because you're holding the handle down, so the timer isn't going. I'm not sure why it doesn't explode when place in a bag on the floor.

Timers on the fuse of a grenade only start to work after both the pin and handle are removed, it's a common misconception that only removing the pin would start the fuse.
As for putting it in a bag, I've seen some old clips on youtube of guys doing that to people and I believe that was on a older version of the game so I think it's intentional.
Reminds me of the fallout series where one could do the same with grenades/mines, reverse pickpocket them and Boom!

that handle is called the spoon and the m67 has a 5 second fuse and they also have a third saftey called a thumb clip that is on the spoon fyi

6K hours showing doesn't necessarily mean that someone has that many hours in-game. Steam only sees that the game is open on your desktop and records those hours whether your in-game or not...
6,000 hrs = 8 hrs a day for 750 days.

But my question to you, snarky Old Man is this; what the heck does hours in the game have to do with knowing whether or not a live grenade in your hand will go off if you are killed? Seems like a reasonable question for this game... :j
