hah i know exactly what you talking about. i really want to love this game at full max. but the constant annoying action sequences. bad quick time events. very cheap deaths and luckluster story making it really hard to fully enjoy the game.

Well, you don´t have to love it, you spent your money on it so just try to have fun and make the most you can of it.

I don't know about you but my thoughts are of the exact opposite. I think the action sequences fit the narrative just fine. The QTEs are interesting considering it's not your usual "press a key/button" (Refer to Prelude part).

The co-op play is very solid and if you could ever find a Survivors/Mercenaries No Hope game. It's really fun. The overall design of the levels are structured to where there's something for everyone. Leon, Chris, Jake, Ada.

I think the campaign has very very poor deciscions when it comes to the execution of certain ideas. like when it forces the player to change his camera angle, or forces them to draw your weapon, making it very akward to play those few seconds it locks you into that. the worst offender is when there is a cutscene in game, and the enemies are still active, while you can't see what's happening to your character. it leads to an awful scenario in chris chapter 3 against the stupid snake.

but other than those asinine moments. and the general stupidity of survivors, I really like it.

I can agree with that, especially the camera angle part. That caused me to lose my S Rank a few times.

I've played the game with a veteran these days... it makes the coop way fun, but we're calling th egame "Resident Trolling 6" because of the cheap deaths, QTEs, the diffiiculties to find games or keep online and all the stupid things that you're fighting to play the game that you shouldn't...

great game, way too much stuff that makes it want to punch it in the face

In theory: separating the players into Region/Country/Worldwide seemed good on paper. I hate playing with players who don't speak the same language. But right now, there isn't a large enough pool to make it work: on top of that, we can't join MP games in-progress which magnifies the problem further with finding anything!

I played through Leon's campaign first by myself and bought the game for a friend and we played through the entire game together and unlocked all of the characters, their alternate costumes and the maps for Mercenaries and No mercy mode and we have a laugh.

Resident Evil 6 was my first game in the series (currently playing through REmake and I'll work my way up to RE5) and while I wouldn't say that it was amazing, I did have a lot of fun.
