(i don't know your score)
In campaigns you can't kick people. If the other player immediately exits after you join, it's most likely he's doing it with friends. There're a few defects with private sessions, no crossovers, and invitations don't always work right, when that happens some people just prefer to look for it in the lobby rather than clicking join via the steam overlay. If the other player somehow leaves without the character using the hand device, it's the connection issue.
In extra content modes there're two pop-ups, "the host has ended the session" and "you've been removed from the session", only the latter is actual kicking, usually due to some special rules or something.
In addition to being toilet waste, these people also don't realize that not everyone has 1,000,000+ scores with every character.
Therefore, even if you've 150/150 with a character they toilet flush their own life down the drain, because they'll kick you out of the lobby because their neckbeard is too full of peanut butter and month old pizza for their brain to function properly.
If they don't see a 1000000 score in .5 seconds their infantile brain can't handle you being in there so they'll sit in the same spot for 3 more weeks until someone joins or their electric bill gets cut off.
Don't worry, you saved yourself the time of playing with a fat neckbeard.
LOL, its true, as if anyone realy gives a flying fuack about those danm scores anyways. Some people I tell'ya.
If it´s story mode, I assume the people you found are just waiting for their friends and they forget to set the session to private.
If it´s Mercenaries, pretty much what B_Man1234 said, there are many "max score w*o*es" around there. I have 150 combos and 1.2+ scores on each stage (not all characters of course) and I still have been kicked by guys who want to get impossible scores but create a free session with the tag "Playing for fun"
And if it´s an MP, competitive mode, well, there´s no reason for them to kick you unless you´re damn good and they know you´re going to beat them up.
By the way, I'm adding all of you and hoping you won't do any of that.
I stop joining mercenaries that always happens to me
