Game not working, please help

I used to be able to play this game when i first got it a few months ago. I stopped playing for awhile to focus on school, but now whenever i try to start the game it stops responding. I've already uninstalled the game and reinstalled it but that didn't help. Is there anything else i can do to fix this?

What's the message that you are getting? Ensure run windows update and make sure Graphic card drivers are up to date.

I'm not getting an error message, i get a black screen for about 5 minutes and then i check the task manager and it says RE6 stopped responding. ill check the drivers though, they should be up to date but it cant hurt
