Seriously, one of the devs (tommykent1210) is in this thread (http://steamcommunity.com/app/221020/discussions/0/882965239801179172/) trying to tell us that the Steam version is the finished product. If this is the finished product, then that is without a doubt, the most amateurish game I have seen in a long time. Compare it to SPAZ or Hotline Miami, which might I add are both cheaper than this game at a regular price of $10 USD and are absolutely brilliant.
Did your refund actually go through? This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen on Steam. I put in a support ticket to try and get my own refund.
I've seen Free games, produced by one person, that were way better than this. When I started the game I felt ripped off. Straight ripped of. Well, for 1€ or something it would be okay, for hardcore players that like that genre regardless of what the game looks like. But 10€ for THIS?
I own SPAZ, and while I think it's not "brilliant" but good, you are absolutely right.
I bought the game in Alpha and I must say, Towns has grown incredibly and you jerks are just complaining....
The demo should be up in the coming week. Steam employees don't work on weekends. That is out of our control.
I feel exactly the same way. I'd have dropped this issue if the Dev's did anything other then giving me a big F U and telling me it was as intended. Learn how to deal with your customers and not make enemies you can't afford to have as an indie game company.
I don't want a demo. I don't even want your game anymore because I have been screwed. You know what your biggest problem is? Telling us that WE are too stupid to check a games state around the internet, instead of you just posting "sorry guys, its alpha. buy only if you are clear what that means".
Or better: Don't bite the hand that feeds you.
It's simple as that.
This is WAY too late for people who have already bought the game. Every developer or even previous customer response that we've seen on these forums so far has been along the lines of, "Everything is fine, the game is complete and playable" or "You should have played the [unavailable] demo and/or done research" which is insulting and unacceptable. Just say you're sorry for the confusion and fix the description and people will stop complaining.
This is the second worst PR response I've ever seen, do you guys work with Ocean Marketing?
This is not quite accurate, as there is only one actual screenshot shown. Stitching together a hundred screens to show an entire map zoomed out is not an accurate representation of graphical fidelity. I actually have no problem with the graphics, as I think the game is cute.
It does not. Does it show me what the animatios look like? Nope. Does it show me any text? Nope. Does it show me any UI? Nope.
You can download the game form the official site :)
I might buy this game soon. :3
Are you being serious? With all the back and forth and you telling us you don't feel bad about anyone who made a purchase without playing the demo that we did not know is available?
