How do you get mods?

ok i got the manager and the mods i want. but they dont come up. how do i fix this?

Put all contents of mod manager into Towns directory.
Run Mod Manager, close it.
download, and extract .zip/.rar files in mods folder (They should be their own folder)
Run Mod Manager again.

Townsmods.net or the official forums would be the place to look; although I don't believe there are any finished mods that fit a modern theme. Some of the decorative mods add blocks that look at lot more modern; and there were a couple of sci-fi style mods in progress although I don't think they've been updated in a while.

Fortunately, modding Towns is pretty simple - the Devs put a lot of effort into making it easy for people without any programing knowledge. There are some great mod tutorials out there, and experienced modders who will be happy to answer any questions or provide assistance with anything you get stuck on.
