Mob Spawns
Jesus Christ, please reduce the mob spawn rate. First, it's a pain in the arse to try and get immagrants to travel across the map just to get to your town without being destroyed by ghosts or yetis or whatever. Secondly, once I finally DO get ONE immagrant across, my WHOLE mine is FILLED with ghosts. Seriously!?1 To say I'm pissed whould be an understatment.

Hi there, sorry you're having frustrating doom of immigration. If you are getting ghosts it's because of human remains, you can click on the chest icon to bring up the Stock Panel and it will show you human corpses and remains (they look different from regular bones). Find those (it will give you the total number on the map) and right click and select the delete option to remove them. Ghosts of Heroes Past will no longer spawn.

You can also build graves under the Outdoor Decorative Items menu if you have stone mined and get a happiness boost when your townies idle or produce near them which will encourage further immigrants...however if you've having a ghost spawn attack it may be wiser to delete them since your townies will wade into the deluge of undead to try to pick them up and that could cause more havoc.

If you're playing at game speed 3, you may want to pause (space key or the pause/play toggle icon near your compass) while you find the corpses/remains so that you can delete them.

Hope that helps. :)
I should like to note that the "delete" option isn't really supposed to be a viable mechanic, as it's part of the development tools which should not be accessible for normal play.
Thanks Versch!

Well, until the developers have implemented proper mechanics to deal with situations like this, IMO it's probably for the better that they stay in the game.
considering you cant right click it and choose "make a tombstone NOW, not in a year when all population is dead", im using the delete button. We need a system where we can choose that nearest worker will drop what he is doing to follow the command, we also need to be able to set that a worker on ly can do certain things for their class, making decorations would be one, this guy would make decorations if any is possible, then idle if he dont have a sub-class. He would always do mainclass before sub class though.

Well obviously that mechanic should stay as long as there is no proper mechanic to replace it. There just really should be a proper mechanic to replace it. As it is now this town seems to rely on god to break down a wall for them, and he's also apparently pretty slow at it.
The tree guardians or whatever are way too much... I had 8 people chopping wood, and within about a minute, 5 trees are down, and 6 "Your villager died from a Tree Guardian" pop up.

And that's why you chop small sections of forest at a time preferably while you have no other jobs for your townies to do. That way your entire population is in the same area so if a guardian happens to appear they'll all converge on it and kill it. They were never a problem for me and honestly i've always thought that if their purpose was to discourage clear-cutting then they're a pretty terrible failure in that purpose. Sometimes I cut far more wood than I needed to just to ensure i'd have plenty of people there if a guardian showed up.

You just need to make sure that you start a tree farm fairly early so you no longer have to worry about guardians and you can automate the gathering of wood.
