Seriously do your research before buying this game! HELP INSIDE.

If you are seriously considering buying this game, ask yourself why the same vague, “…continually developing…” phrase is used on other digital gaming sites to advert this game, when the Dev and Mod have attributed the vague messaging to Steam. Dig deep and research before making your decision to buy. Educate yourself so that you know exactly what you are getting into.

There are plenty of posts here and all over the internet about how this game is still in Alpha/Beta stages of development yet there is ZERO indication of how incomplete the game actually is when you purchase it.

Be warned, be a diligent buyer and do your research, get the demo and make your own decision. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT IMPULSE BUY THIS GAME AS YOU WILL BE SORELY DISAPPOINTED. You will be paying to test a Beta quality build.

Agreed, wish I did my research outside of steam before I bought Towns. Unfortunatly all that was available for me were the misleading screenshots :(

I'm pretty sure the button that says "Buy Now," said "pre-purchase" until recently. Also I think the FAQ used to say something like "What state is the game in?" the answer being something like "Alpha or Beta."

When did that change? It's actually getting to the point where the "they're just really ignorant" argument makes them sound even dumber than the "they honestly think doing what they're doing will make them more money" argument.

Sure, I aggre they should tell you its in BETA, but its still a great game in my opinion and I personally have spent 20 hours playing it.

Its not in beta however. It is in Alpha but is still playable alpha. And I also enjoy the game very much. Though I can't use my computer at home due to family. I'm wondering if the new patch will be out the next time I'm able to get on.
