Not worth it.
Downloaded the demo and played around with it. The tutorials are aweful, there is no way to keep the tutorial window up and play.

No objectives window.

Game continues even if you have a toolbar open or menu open.

Graphics aren't bad, but the fonts look like they were done by a four year old.

Didn't even want to try and get to know this game. Not worth it, don't buy it.

You're aware the game has a pause button right? I mean, I don't entirely disagree with you (i'd only ever recommend this game to fans of the genre and even then there are plenty of other options) but if one of your major problems with the game is pausing, it's quite easy to do.

The point is, I shouldn't have to work to learn how a game works. It should show me, or be intuitive. This game is neither, has poor user feedback, and generally is more cumbersome than I care for.

Me and a friend re-made the tutorials, we are still waitting on a answer back from Xavi if he is going to use them or not.
Sadly even us veterans agree the quests should be shown off on the side of the screen though.

Edit:
PS F1 brings up the objective screen.

True enough. It's quite fun once you learn how to play it but then from what I understand it isn't different in any significant way from other options even available through steam that are more fleshed out. I'm busy playing other games I bought on sale recently so I havn't gotten around to trying them myself.

I'd try to teach you the game but there are better out there for that than I and since you've only tried the demo and stopped short of buying it it's probably not really relevant to try. Have fun with wherever your gaming takes you.
