I think that Towns++ doubles or triples the original game content
I'm not a Dev, but if I may:
Gnomoria and Towns were started at roughly the same time, and their early development was very similar. They did branch significantly (well, Towns turned away from the path it was on and went in a new direction, while Gnomoria kept on the same path) when Towns hit 0.5, and now they're very different games although they share some gameplay elements. The towns Devs have actually supported Gnomoria on the official Towns forums, so there certainly isn't any grievance on thier part.
For the record, both are great games =)
About the mod, you know how a mod is installed? We will need to create some tutorials.
To install a mod, you should unzip it in the mods folder. That folder should be located at:
USERFOLDER/.towns/mods
The USERFOLDER is Operating System dependant, so on Windows it should be:
C:/Documents and Settings/YOURUSERNAME
or
C:/Users/YOURUSERNAME/
Once you have the mod in the corect folder you can enable/disable it in-game, using the "Mods" menu on the main menu
Links are fine on Steam. They just pop up a warning telling people to be careful of links posted on the forums and wash their hands of any potential problems. Dunno if they'd ban you if you made a habit of posting bad links but that doesn't really matter if you're not doing that.
