Failed anvil crafting?

Anyone else having trouble crafting an anvil? I make the tongs, than when I place the order for anvil my tongs/iron are used but no anvil is made. happened a couple of times.

Do you have alot of orders queued? Some orders seem orphaned (and I suspect some are), but eventually get done.

I seperated my workers into bakers, haulers, builders, miners etc... so theres a smaller group for the order to go out to but nothing else was queued up at the time. All the builders were idle in the market.

Do you have stone hammer? You need it for anvil

yeah i equip all my workers with stone hammers theres like 40 of em running around lol

Now, i am throwing random things that you are maybe doing wrong:
-you need first to build zone forge
-you need to have iron + tongs +stone hammer in stockpiles or on ground (it will not work if your townies are armed with stone hammer)
-townies need to have item construction job enabled and set on higher priority
-you need to be on same level where you build when giving order to build anvil

It was number two. I thought any stone hammer would do, it cannot be equipped. My soldier dropped his for a spear and than the anvil was made. Learn something new everyday lol. Thanks for the help :)
