as much as i understand people frustation at this game and it unfinished stuff etc etc can we please stop going on about it now and u know just think of fairy dust and cute pink creatures that flat and spread love and happyness

it feels like every day all i see is

can we get a refund
when a new update out
what is the designer doing FFS
my game isnt working i wanna kill the designer

ok the last two kinda made up but u get the idea
but what more annoying is it seems to be the same people over and over i read some post and they are actually given answers yet they seem to complain even more

Unfinished POS sold as a complete game steals millions from unwary customers due to developers unethical actions and you want good news?

Gosh, I'm sorry your feelings are being hurt by coming to the forums and seeing the effect of such blatantly unethical actions. You can either get over it, or have yourself a nice cry.

This. And no, the fact that Xavi has begun discussing the POSSIBILITY of doing something on the Towns forums doesn't count. That isn't GOOD news till something actually happens. Before then, it's just news.

There is no good news, the team was made of two people and one of them quit. The other one finally appeared on the forums for the game to annouce that he was dropping it and that he cancelled the search for a new dev because "[He's] so burned to show the code to other guy and explain him how all works." He said he was considering open source, but that's probably out the window because that would threaten his income from the game.

I'm not sure I get your point here. Are you saying we should see how it feels when people complain about a mistake we've made? I'm perfectly well acquainted with that feeling, I just respond to it like any normal adult should. I recognize the mistake and work toward fixing it if possible and/or try to avoid making that same mistake in the future. I'm not going to waste my sympathy on someone that responds by ignoring the problem, hoping it magically goes away on its own, all while making a lot of money from doing so. Neither should you.

There is no good news you tool, the game is done and dead after countless months of nothing happening.

Here I'll try for you...

I got good news, 1 dev quit and so did a forum moderator of there main site. Also I glad to say they didn't hire a new dev and xavi the owner has no intension of hiring anyone. So we dodged those bullets, lucky us.

the price of the game is exspensive when your on job seeking payment so some have a right to complain so much they feel.

It didn't help matters Xavi had to pay for his wifes chemo. That is mentally taxing on a person when you have a loved one on deaths door and you have everything put on your shoulders.

I am not defending him, but people need to look at things a bit more objectively. Not selfishly.

We were all sympathetic and understanding at the time. A while later, he came and posted that his wife was fine now and work would progress on Towns as it had before her illness. It never did.

NONE OF THIS JUSTIFIES THE COMPLETELY UNETHICAL ACTION OF RELEASING AN ALPHA AS IF IT WERE A FULL GAME!

You are literally wrong in every way possible. You felt that the forums didn't reflect the game accurately and were only negative for the sake of negativity.

In reality, all that negativity was fully justified, and now that there have been hopeful changes in the prospect for further development, those are being discussed fairly here, too.

no my point was that the same people have replied to my post with the same negtive opinions they share in all the rest of them ... i would of settled for one person one person saying something like it colourful ... didnt care just wanted to prove myself wrong .. but hey i was right
