Retina Display
Trying to get this game to run in a Retina Display, but there the bottom of the game is a huge black bar. Also in high resolution nothing can be seen :/

Retina Display?

A Thomas Was Alone iPhone app would be an automatic purchase for me, but only the soundtrack is currently available on iTunes. . . no?

He is talking about Macbook retina display support, which the game completely lacks.
Also, it presents black bars on top and botton of the screen regardless of the resolution, but if you choose retina resolution (2880x1800) the game will open up at 5760x3600 resolution and obviously will not show up on the screen!

That's because, at retina resolution (2880x1800), all elements at screen are scaled to "1440x900"-like density (that is, 220 DPI at 2880x1800). But the game developers didn't take that into account, so when you choose 2880x1800 resolution, the game thinks the screen is actually at 1440x900 so it opens up at "2880x1800" resolution.... that is, 4 times the scale of the scale! What you get is a 5760x3600 game thinking it's running at 2880x1800.

The only workaround to fix this would be to change your desktop display to 2880x1800 at 1:1 density, so when the game opens at 2880x1800 it will also be running at 1:1 density, thus fitting the screen nicely. However, setting display density to 1:1 requires a hack (an application) to manually change it, and all elements on the screen (regular desktop) will be ridiculously small, whereas the game should look fine. However, not even that works, because the game is still opening up the Steam overlay at a very small resolution, and the game itself at very high resolution, thus defeating the point of it entirely.

The developers MUST fix this!

This is still an issue, if the developers get a hold of this please, fix it.

I think we should try to contact the developer support directly. Apparently this developer doesn't read Steam forums.
