By the power of TotalBiscuit, this game is now the 39th top seller game!
Edit 1: When I posted this, it was just the 100th.

Amazing how a YouTube video could get a game to have so many sales.

Ironically enough, if so, his viewers are ignoring his advice to wait until the end of the Christmas sale if an item isn't a Daily or Flash deal.

Screw it. It's already 50% off, and even if the guy will give a bigger discount, it's a good game. I can't say he doesn't deserve the money.

Everything in life isnt about buying stuff when its cheapest, its about paying what you think something is worth, for me this would have been 100% fully worth the normal price.

Agreed. I actually feel like I didn't pay enough for this at full price.

I really have to agree. This game was well worth the 4.99 price tag, heck I would have bought it for full price still.

If you're feeling generous, you can also buy it at their website[www.thomaswasalone.com] for full price. A few different options for DRM, plus more of the money will go to the devs instead of Steam's administration fees and server costs.

Great idea! Well worth it for the enjoyment I got out of it.

After seeing the WTF is I bought it, completed it, got my wife to play it, then bought it for my brother so he can get in on the action too :-)

Far Cry 3 hasn't had a look in for days!

I agree that TotalBiscuit had a hand in promoting this game, but by saying, "By the hand of TotalBiscuit...." you're giving credit to the wrong person. This game was made by the hand of Mike Bethell and the others who worked on it. Without them, TotalBiscuit's video never would have been created, haha. I just imagine it's tough for a developer seeing that people think the only reason their game is popular is because some other guy said it was good. It got there on its own. But anyway, TotalBiscuit is a cool guy and I'm glad to see things worked out for everyone.

To be fair, the developer probably asked TB to do a WTF is of the game, as is often the case. If he did, then that means that credit goes to Mr. Bethell twice - once for making a fantastic game (I'm about halfway through, loving every minute), and again for an EXTREMELY effective marketing strategy; and credit also goes to TB for being a successful platform for exposing good games like this one. I personally wouldn't have heard about the game without TB's video, since I was sitting most of the steam sale out and wasn't looking at any of the deals. I felt the $10 price tag to be extremely fair.

And finally, credit goes to every person who bought this game at any price tag for supporting such a unique game. I thouroughly enjoyed it, and I wish all the success in the world to Mr. Bethell in his future endeavors.

Hey, thought I'd jump in.

Thanks for the credit, and yeah.. Totally made it :) but without TB, and folks like him, this game would never have reached as wide an audience as it has. Youtubers, game journalists and LPers put our work in front of players like you.. So I'm very grateful to everyone who spread the word... Be they one guy telling a mate about a game, or a girl with a million twitter followers telling her fans about it.

Long live TB, and long may he take a chance on weird little puzzle platformers he expects to suck :)
