Maximum and Minimum Seeds

I'm aware you can find a specific generated level by typing in a name or number (a seed number/word) into the navigator. What I'd like know is what the smallest and largest seed that can be input into it?

I'm asking largely to see if there's any correlation between them in the same way that seeds in the 3D Worms games affected the map size.
