Characters Stretching
I notied that a while back some character models began to streth across the screen and I thought it was an I thought it was an isolated incident, but it had happened more frequently and eventually had models stretch across the entire screen this morning. ANybody else have this problem or is it a sign my computer GPU is degrading?

That's definitely GPU degradation or gpu not receiving enough power.

Not really, maybe its just a Power issue, just have to replace PSU, or try to lower voltage settings for processor. Try playing with Vsync on, and at a lower resolution..

It's on a laptop, so there'd be no replacing.

:( Try playing with the modified settings and make sure laptop is plugged in to outlet and not on battery when you're playing.

I suppose I should keep V-Sync on but it absolutely kills FPS. 10 fps on anything but lowest resolution.

oh ouch, hmm, ♥♥♥♥, yeah you're just really pushing your little ole laptop, time to upgrade :D. Damn what fps are you playing DmC at normally with vysnc off, it must be kinda clunky if you're having slow down and stuff.

Steady 60 on high with Vsync off, choppy 30 on medium with vsync on. I guess I had this laptop for a while, but one year isn't really all that long.

Not sure why Vsync drops your FPS so hard...

Apparently that's a common laptop problem. So I hear.

Check your temps -- try a monitor like GPU-Z or maybe MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision. You can also setup a frame limiter so you don't have the GPU rendering unlimited FPS -- would help to keep the usage and therefore the temps down. Maybe you don't have proper ventilation AND are overheating.

That could be it, thanks.

Well, my computer is about to be destroyed...
Now there's stretching every time the witch uses that ground spike attack, even with V-Sync on.
And I just fixed my computer keyboard, too.
