Logitech G27
I have dl the demo and i tried to map the pedals for brake and gas. Whatever i try, it only maps axis 5 to drive backwards and drive forwards. Since this game is console minded, mapping those features are fine with a controller since both sticks have a fixed middle position. If i cant use my G27 at the full extent i wont buy this game. Can anybody enlight me about using a G27 with FS 2013?

Try the devs site for support on hardware related issues as they don't check these forums. Also this game isn't really "Console Minded" it's been around for a few years for PC only, the console side of things are new to the 2013 series.

You could use a controller with the older games but that wasn't it's main focus, they just put that in as it was requested by a lot of players, otherwise people would still be using keyboard/mouse or joystick/wheel controls.

Use the Profiler to set your pedals as a combined axis. Make a new profile for the game, then go to "Device - Steering Device -> Double click your device (G27) -> Settings" and then tick the box for combined pedals.

When in the game, go to settings and set drive forward and backward, they will both have the same Axis (Axis 6 for me), then launch a game. When in a vehicle, pressing the accelerator will move the vehicle forward as it should, and the brake will brake and reverse your vehicle.

Thanks for the tip! I'll try it and get back to you how it worked out for me.
**Edit**: Thanks, that did the trick!

had same problem and deleted all the axle settings in game, save and go out of game. open logitech profiler settings, set pedels to "report combine pedels" start game and set your pedals agin then it worked

None of this is working for me. It just seems like Logitech Profiler doesn't communicate with FS 2013 that the axis are combined. I've also tried editing my inputbindings document and putting AXIS_6 down for MOVEVEHICLEFORWARD or w/e it is. Nothing is working - Accelerator pedal is still acting as 1 axis. If I go to Move Vehicle Backward in controls list and hit the brake pedal, FS2013 will pick that up as a viable axis, but once I load into the game the brake pedal doesn't do diddly squat.

You need to go to options in your logitech profiler, there select global settings, And there you need to select combined pedals en your settings you want. The game doesn't take it from specific settings. then go in game en set your axes normally with the g27 it will be axle 6 then instead of five then you're on. grtz just solved the problem like this

In case anyone is an idiot like me, make sure you select the right exe in your steam folder. It should be axle 6 if you did it right.
