You need to make sure you upzip the edited map file in your "documents/mygames/mods" dir.

I bought the game on steam before the sale, how do I get to the map editor? Was it even included with my game? Any help would be appreciated.

you can get the editor free from the web site and it whil also be in the game self. just go to steam-> steam apps-> common -> farming simulator 2013-> sdk folder -> there you find giants software that is the map editor it can also be uset for make vihicles work able. etc or so far i gfeus from but i am not a expert in that

oke i found the problem.

if you rename the map on other name. like map01 etc. than you need too edit the file SampleModMap.lua after you need too search for the line,

self:loadMap(Utils.getFilename("map/map.i3d", self.baseDirectory), true, self.loadMap01Finished, self);

and change (->map/map.i3d<-", self.baseDirectory) for the current name of the map that you have given.

atm i try too understand bit more about the triggers etc.

if i know it bit better and no one else made a explain how that works than i try to post it too.
but my english is not that realy good lol
