Loading bales onto trailer
Not to brag or anything, but....
If you need someone to teach you how NOT to load round or square bales onto any trailer, I'm your guy. Yep, I'm really great at messing up something that should be so simple. hehe

The 1st bale is always perfectly placed snug up against the back board. Then, well...it gets ugly.

I haven't tried loading bales - I just push 'em*. The lifesaver for me loading wool pallets is that they are pretty sticky once onboard the old blue trailer, so even though they may be hanging halfway out in mid-air, they will make the trip to the spinnery without falling off.

With round bales always fork 2 bales at a time. Fork one, then line the second up neatly on the ground first, then load them. I figure it takes about a third of the time that loading singles does.

I never use bale trailers, most I find are bugged ...I use the Arcusin Autostack Trailer to grab the bales from the field, then I stack them in neat piles near my pastures. I then use the Kuhn Primor Bale Grab mod and the Mixer Wagon Bale Grab Mod. these two mods allow me to use these two wagons to simply drive near the Bale stacks and they auto load the bales. Also, I found that using most bale trailers that have scripts bound to them caused my bales to bounce around the screen when loading up the map again, by eliminating the need for these trailers, my bales stay neatly stacked even after re-loading map.

ps. I never use round bales ...they p**s me off LOL

Thanks Crusader. I usually don't bother with the trailers and forks either, and usually go for the Arcusin Autostack right away also.
I just decided to make bales right away since the map I used had cows already but didnt' have the 95,000$ needed to buy the autostacker right away.
This was also a 'new' trailer supposedly with autolock of the bales but the trailer has some really weird issues once you start putting bales on it. it would lean over like a sinking ship, or start flipping all over the place WITH the tractor attached it.
Anyways, it made for quite a funny experience...well not that funny after having placed a dozen bales, slowly and carefully, onto this riding bronco of a trailer.
