Failed to connect Uplay
I can't launch Far Cry 3 or Blood Dragon anymore. Whenever I try to, I get the message "Failed to connect to Uplay". Does anyone know why?

That I do know and thats the problem. I cant login to uplay, only getting back to try again.
Have resetted the password and everything is correct. Also tried to make a new account but same ♥♥♥♥♥ there.

Same problem here, I contacted Ubisoft support 4 days ago but they just told me to update the video card drive and it didn't solve my problem, I can't play any Ubisoft game. can't play Far Cry 3, Assassin's Creed 3 and Splinter Cell. this is very annoying.

I think it is something about this new Uplay version because I unninstalled Uplay then I installed an older version which was located on Far Cry 3 Support folder, then the Uplay opened normally but after it updated to the new version again, I got the same error message. and we are unable to play the game without updating the Uplay >.<

Guys, I have the same problem here, I can't play Assassins Creed 3, it shows the error ""Failed to connect Uplay. I opened a support ticket in the Ubisoft but I don't have any answer.
Someone can solve this?

"Dear Customer, Unfortunately we had some problems with the new update of the Uplay PC. We are doing everything possible to resolve this issue as son as possible. In the meantime we recommend the following: delete and reinstall the Uplay PC manually, multiple times or even succeed. Make sure you have the CAPS on, since our system gives the impression that is converting lowercase letters in upper case. Delete and reinstall the program Steam. And make sure that you are accessing their games through the Uplay PC. One more thing, you need to be connetado internet so you can access Uplay PC and play at least the first time appreciate your patience and kind cooperation. We remain at your disposal for whatever you need. Sincerely, Paula"

I tried unninstalling/installing many times without success, but then I tried to install on my notebook and it ran normally...
this is frustrating...

Sem problemas, tb sou brasileiro, logo poderemos nos comunicar em Portugues mesmo. É uma pena não estar funcionando normalmente, Aproveitei a promoção do Steam e ainda não consegui jogar. Vou tentar remover e reinstalar o Uplay mais algumas vezes, espero ter sorte.

Okay cara, te desejo sorte, no entanto se conseguir jogar poste aqui. Meu caso, eu comprei o jogo dia 9 e não consegui jogar até hoje por conta desse problema, e se você for procurar no google você pode ver que tem mais pessoas com esse mesmo problema, entretanto nenhuma solução até o momento.
O que é uma bosta , a Ubisoft deveria prezar mais pelos seus clientes e criar uma nova atualização pro uplay pra corrigir esse problema que várias pessoas estão tendo, ou ao menos voltar para a versão anterior que rodava normalmente.

Estou tentando instalar o Assassins Creed Revelations, pra ver se abre o Uplay... se abrir reinstalo o AC3 e se tudo der certo posto aqui... abri ticket na Steam e na Ubisoft... mas até agora não tive nenhuma resposta, nem um sinto muito.

Editei para postar o resultado... FAILED TO CONNECT UPLAY, ou seja, fiquei na mesma... pelo visto o jeito é esperar que a Ubisoft faça alguma coisa a respeito.

ei alguem ai que fla português pod me responde pq quando eu entro meu jogo vai normalmente mas deps que clico pra começar a jogar no carregamento eps de escolher a dificuldade ele fecha e diz que parou de funcionar?
alguem sabe resolver isso por favor me ajude

Fefedo, tente verificar a integridade dos arquivos do jogo
Clique com o botão direito do mouse sobre o jogo, clique em Propriedades
Na guia acima clique em Arquivos Locais e então selecione a ultima opção "verificar a integridade dos arquivos...", isso deve resolver seu problema, caso contrário eu recomendo a você entrar em contato com o suporte da Ubisoft.

Yeah this is ♥♥♥♥ing ♥♥♥♥ing me off. I havn't even played it for the first time yet and because of a forced useless launcher that they cant even make work, I cant play it anyways.
