Far Cry 3 Key Activation

I just bought Far Cry 3 today, and I can't get a CD key from steam for Uplay. It just keeps displaying "requesting key..." and nothing happens. Why is this happening?

Thank you for your help, but it didn't work. I think the problem isn't with Far Cry 3, but instead Steam. Could it be possible that their just out of keys?

Request your money back the games broke anyway

Hehe. go to view then games details then click farcry 3 then on the right side it gives
tabs click cd key..... hope this helped

Finally found this in a forum for another game, and it ACTUALLY worked (after both Steam and Ubi/Rockstar support were useless... I was having the same problem with both Far Cry 3 AND Max Payne 3). Hope it helps you too. Make sure to stop Steam first.

I have the Exact same problem anybody got a solution, tried deleting localconfic.vdf. Didnt work neither did uninstalling and reinstalling uplay. Had problems with AC3 too but then i could at least play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

Great, add me to the list of rejected key owners.
Browsing trough the forums for solutins and tried a few, non work for me.
contacted both UBI and Steam..
They took my money and now i just have to wait several days for a response..

thats strange steam gives a popup when you start with your key...and then displays it to you when the game starts. If you right click on the program and choose properties on the steam menu you can look at what its cd key is....and can look at the menu option for cd key on the menu for the game itself on your game library screen.

so anywise thats your key.

seriously..you dont have to be a brain surgeon to find the cd key.....unless you are trying to play someone elses copy of the game on your account....in which case you are SOL.
