The Game's only just officially been released in Beta, but had it never been updated again I could have played it as a finished game (though somewhat lacking in terrain details, i.e. trees etc).
KSP is hard, I found it quite a steep learning curve from the usual games I play. Getting to grip's with correct weight distribution, centre of lift and mass, trajectory etc. Its all new to me coming from games such as Eve Online, War Thunder or generic FPS's. But given some time, you soon get to grips with the game, more through trail and error in my case, and it really shines.
Some people are incredible at designing and building enormous craft, creative designs, technical and brilliant, and can, using mods, even colonise other planets and celestial bodies in the game. I myself, have successfully landed on Mun just the once and returned (on my first try luckily!), and that's about the best i've managed!
KSP's modding community really is incredible, and KSP's developers have invested time looking into the more popular mods for the game and have even incorporated them into the newer releases! They have applauded the inginuety of the community and have taken on all constructive criticism, and have really built an incredible game.
I can whole heartedly recommend this game, for the more serious sim gamer, or for those wanting a bit of fun building a rocket and blowing little Kerbels up. If you're creative you will love KSP, just make sure you have a decent CPU if you want to build anything too crazy!
This game is still (technically only just) in Beta, but already feels like a finished game, and although I got it a incredibly reduced price in a Humble Bundle package, I would pay the market price, and even more, still knowing it's in Beta.
